Peel and dice the onion as well as the garlic clove.
Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage, quarter it and remove the stem.
Cut the cabbage into thin strips and set it aside for now.
Melt the butter in a large frying pan and add the diced onions.
Fry the onions for about 3-4 minutes at medium-high heat until they start to become translucent.
Add the garlic as well and fry for 1-2 more minutes.
Add the ground beef to the pan and fry for 5-6 minutes until it's brown and crumbly.
Add the tomato paste and the spices to the pan and stir thoroughly until everything is well mixed.
Add the sliced cabbage to the pan and fry it for about 8-10 minutes while stirring every once in a while.
Deglaze with a bit of water and let everything simmer for about 20 minutes with a closed lid and at medium heat, until the cabbage is fork-tender.
Add the cream cheese to the pan, mix well and serve your keto ground beef & cabbage skillet right after.
Store the low carb ground beef & cabbage skillet in an airtight container in your fridge for up to 3 days.
