How To Make Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms With Cream Cheese

 
I absolutely love this recipe.
You don’t need a lot of ingredients and your sausage stuffed mushrooms can be done within 30 minutes.

What you’ll need to make the stuffed mushrooms (You can find the exact amounts needed in the recipe card at the end of this post):

☞ champignons (it doesn’t matter if you use brown or white ones)
☞ sausages (I used Vienna sausages, they’re practically the same as normal hot dog sausages/frankfurters)
☞ full-fat cream cheese
☞ parmesan (or other grated hard cheese)
☞ almond flour
☞ garlic
☞ salt, pepper, parsley
☞ shredded cheese of your choice to top everything off

☝︎ Depending on what sausages you are using, you might want to adjust the amount of salt you’ll add.
Most sausages already have a quite heavy salty taste, keep this in mind when you add salt to the cream cheese filling.
(When I first made these sausage stuffed mushrooms, I completely overdid it with the salt, that’s why I’m mentioning it specifically.)
 

Instructions:

 
Wipe your mushroom caps with a kitchen towel to remove rough dirt.
Continue by removing the mushroom stem from your mushrooms.
Chop the mushrooms stems as well as the garlic very finely and add it into a frying pan with some cooking oil.

(Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C.)
Fry the chopped up mushroom stems and the garlic for a few minutes (5-6 minutes) on medium to high heat.
Once the mushroom stem-garlic mixture is done, add it into a bowl.
Add the cream cheese, parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Mix thoroughly.

Add the cream cheese filling into your mushroom caps.
Chop your sausage into one-inch long pieces and tuck the sausage into the cream cheese filling.
Top it off with some shredded cheese of your choice.
Bake in your oven for 20 minutes.
Enjoy!

One stuffed mushroom has 0.5g net carbs (0.9g total carbs and 0.4g dietary fiber) 7g of fat, 4.3g of protein and 86 calories.
(I try to be as accurate as possible with this information, but values may vary because of natural occurring fluctuations and different products used.)

     1 ½ cups (180g) full fat cream cheese
     3 garlic gloves
     1 tbsp (15g) parmesan cheese
     1 tbsp (8g) almond flour
     1 tbsp (13g) parsley
     salt, pepper
     shredded cheese

    Add them into a frying pan with cooking oil and fry them for 5-6 minutes on medium to high heat.
