The ketogenic diet is generally incredibly satisfying and if you’re doing it right you’ll decrease your sugar cravings tremendously.
But we’re all only human and all of us get a sweet craving from time to time – even when we’re in deep ketosis.
Thankfully there are a lot of keto-friendly desserts that won’t kick you out of ketosis while still satisfying your sweet tooth.
For example, Healthy No Bake Keto Snickers Bars , Super Easy Keto Peanut Butter Cookies or this delicious & keto-friendly tiramisu mousse!
It’s a recipe I’ve “created” the first time I tried the keto diet, which was probably about 3 years ago. (I’ve been on and off keto since then – but I try to be on it most of the time.)
I put “created” in quotation marks because I almost feel bad claiming ownership of such an easy recipe – it literally has only 3 ingredients and it’s done within 5 minutes!
It’s the perfect treat to make for yourself when you’re exhausted and you want something sweet right now.
Another huge bonus of this keto fat bomb recipe?
You can increase your fat intake if it’s been a bit low on a specific day without spiking your carb count – one serving of this keto tiramisu mousse only has 1.5g net carbs! with a whopping 25.6g of fat!
Why should you eat keto fat bombs?
Fat bombs are more than just a nice tasting treat.
They can actually help you lose weight, increase energy levels and improve your health.
Because fat bombs contain such a high amount of fat and low amount of carbohydrates and protein, they can help keto newbies get into ketosis faster.
Most newbies find it difficult to eat the high amount of fat that a keto diet requires and ketogenic fat bombs can be an incredibly handy trick to get used to higher amounts of fats in your diet!
Well-adapted people on the ketogenic diet also benefit from keto fat bombs, either because of the quick and delicious snack that provides them with energy and satisfy their cravings or with the health benefits attached to certain kinds of fat bombs.
Keto fat bombs consisting mainly of high-fat dairy products like this tiramisu keto fat bomb aren’t bad for you.
That’s what “old school” research (as well as doctors and nutritionists that haven’t upgraded their education since 1970) want you to believe.
New research over the last decades shows us that high-fat dairy products like full-fat milk, butter, and even cream can have great health benefits.
One of the main health benefits of high-fat dairy products comes from a specific fatty acid (conjugated linoleic acid) CLA that has been shown to improve metabolic health as well as some signs of lower risk for certain diseases, including heart disease.
Dairy products also contain vital vitamins and minerals.
These health benefits are more pronounced in dairy products that stem from grass-fed cattle – so if you can, you should always look out for that!
HOW TO MAKE KETO TIRAMISU MOUSSE
All you need is some full-fat mascarpone cheese, a granulated sweetener of your choice (I highly recommend using erythritol ) and unsweetened baking cocoa powder, also known as dutch processed cacoa powder.
All you need to do is to take a small bowl or jar and mix the ingredients mentioned above until you get a smooth creme.
It’s really that simple.
Once everything is mixed up, you can either eat your keto tiramisu mousse right away or store it in your fridge up to a day.
Another great option is to fill your keto tiramisu mousse into a silicone mold for fat bombs and place it in your freezer.
This way, you can store your keto fat bombs much longer and you will always have something sweet at hand when cravings overcome you.

What is this magic? You are a genius!! I LOVED this. And I’ve really struggled finding a yummy keto dessert, especially so fast!! I used classic Lakanto Monkfruit, which worked like a charm. With out that weird thing in the back of my throat. Not really an after taste, but maybe a film? I dunno. Swerve is ok, But monk fruit is great!! Also,
I saved some for morning and I am totally adding instant coffee to it, maybe even some booze!!! Couple of questions, do you mix by hand? Mine was kind of like cream cheese out of the container. What happens if i don’t eat it with in a day? If I freeze and then thaw it, does it still have a creamy texture? Have you mixed mascarpone with another flavor? What is your thought about adding a spoon of fresh ricotta to fluff it up a bit? Also, mine was much lighter in color, think Wendy’s frosty. But whoa!! Just whoa.
Oh my, your comment truly made my day!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely comment – it makes me so happy to see how much you liked it! 😀
As for the questions:
– i usually just mix by hand because it’s so fast and convenient.
– I really think you can store it for a few more days without any problems, but it will probably become a bit watery after more than one day. Nothing that a good stir won’t fix but it’s probably most delicious when it’s freshly made 🙂
– the freezing might be a bit of a problem, i think the texture would change. But I’m not completely sure – I never tried it!
– I did try to mix it with a bit of strawberry purée & sweetener – that’s really delicious as well! Your idea with the added instant coffee sounds awesome as well, thanks for the tip!
– I never tried that but if you would like to have a texture that’s more fluffy you could try to add a bit whipped heavy cream, that should work as well! As for the ricotta, I never tried it but I’m eager to learn if it worked for you! 🙂
That was a long comment – I hope your questions are answered and again thank you so much for your comment 🙂
Much love,
Uliana 🙂
